As I get older I seem to enjoy the mid tones of the viola more, compared to playing the violin. Seems to work very well with piano.
The piano here is a 1930s Berlin built Steck, that I found in an auction house in Bath and picked it up for £100! I have never seen another piano in this amazing condition in a regular domestic auction.
